About

Alice is a cellist based in London and is currently studying her Master’s degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

In September 2015 Alice started her two-year Master’s degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance and receives tuition from Richard Markson. Throughout her time there so far, she has been involved in many chamber and orchestral projects both inside and outside of the conservatoire. She was involved in the Teenage Cancer Trust Concert in the Royal Albert Hall on the 22nd April 2016, in the ‘Lost in Love’ concert series organised by crossover soprano Natasha Hardy as well as in many recording projects: one professional recording engagement with producer Tom E Morrison and an educational project at Abbey Road Studios. In 2016 and 2017 she led the cello section in the London City Orchestra, London Beethoven Orchestra and co-lead in the London Euphonia Orchestra. In March 2017 she was chosen to play in the masterclass with Raphael Wallfisch. As an orchestral member Alice has performed at, amongst others, Cadogan Hall and St James’ Church.

Current Projects

Current projects include developing her career as a cellist and she is planning a couple of recitals in 2017. Furthermore she will be recording Beethoven sonatas for her final Master’s project. Alice has built up her own quartet, the London City Quartet, and has a couple of private cello students in London. Alice has been offered a kind scholarship offer from Trinity and will continue her studies in London for further two years.

Alice is a passionate musician and teacher.

Alice is a very passionate, versatile and dedicated musician. Her experience ranges from a vast orchestral and opera accompaniment experience to solo and chamber music performances.
